1. Colours
Autumn brings around some of the most beautiful colours. Just like spring is to blossom, autumn is to golden leaves. Unlike me, nature really has no bad angle, she slays all year round bringing us orange and red tones for fall. I love coordinating my outfits to autumn, the browns and reds are just perfect for my skin tone and hair colour.

2. Hot Drinks
With the temperature dropping, our drinks just get warmer and who isn't a fan of a cosy drink? Hot chocolate, pumpkin spiced lattes and of course, mulled wine - you can't really get more autumn/winter than that!

3. Cosy Evenings
This time of year is the perfect excuse to stay snuggled in a duvet a bit longer, stick on a film and chill out. Spend time on you with a mini pamper sesh - face masks and nails mandatory! I love to stick on children's films with lot's of fairy lights, candles and a cheeky bar of chocolate!
Speaking of candles...

4. Scented Candles
I feel like companies really out-do themselves with the scented candles around this time of year! I head to Primark recently and picked up load of autumn/winter themed candles that all smelt amazing. I wish the UK had a Bath and Body Works so I could pick up their famous autumn-themed range.

5. Closer to Christmas
Yes! The closer to autumn we are, means the closer to Christmas! I can't really believe it is almost November. I'm not quite ready to accept the fact that 2017 has pretty much finished (excuse me, whaatt? howww?)
But my shock is soon overshadowed by the fact that tis the season of chistmassy goodness fa la la la la, la la, la la! - stay tuned for my 10 reasons to love Christmas post haha.

6. Halloween
Yep, so I am writing this post on 30th October and currently have/had/did zero Halloween plans. I know, I suck! I love Halloween but I am terrible at planning and I kind of hoped something fun would pop up but, alas, twas not meant to be this year. I mean, I watched a scary film in the cinema last night and went on the Saw ride at Thorpe Park, does that count?
7. Black Friday Sales
Oh yes, us cheeky Brits decided that we do love a bargain and a good sale, so we adopted the typically American Thanksgiving tradition, no expense spared. I feel like every year, the Black Friday Sales get bigger and bigger, with more and more companies catching on.
This year, PrettyLittleThing have a huge Black Friday Sale happening. They want everyone to grab a bargain! Many of my recent and upcoming posts feature a lot of PLT, so you can use me as inspiration then get yourself some nice new threads ;)
8. Layers
I do love me some layers. Knitwear is one of the best things about autumn. I think since becoming a blogger, I have been able to style up my winter wardrobe in a way that I can stay chic and not look like a padded sack of cold, wet potatoes! I love H&M, Zara and ASOS for affordable knitwear. Try investing in some versatile pieces that can be worn many ways and layered up or down.

9. Comfort Food
This is the season of food! Christmas, Thanksgiving, Tuesday night - there are so many more reasons to feast like the kings and queens you are! I love all the sweet treats that hit the supermarket shelves, covered in seasonal packaging. From Halloween candy to Christmas turkeys, the feasting possibilities are endless and there is no shame!

10. Parties
Of course, tis the season to be merry! This time of year brings so many reasons to party - work do's, family time, halloween, bonfire night. And if you have a birthday this time of year, even better! I love celebrating this time of year and updating my party frock situation too!
